Overnight Cruises in the Chesapeake Bay, Florida Keys & the Intracoastal Waterway

Overnight cruises on Windrush enable guests to enjoy the luxury accommodations and the wonderful hospitality aboard. Cruise and travel like the "Rich & Famous" of the 20th Century and visit unique and historical destinations in the Chesapeake Bay, South Florida or the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway.

American Classic offers weekend and week-long vacation cruises in the Chesapeake Bay from May through early October. "Windrush is in South Florida from mid-December until early April, and she navigates the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway in fall and spring.

The Intracoastal Waterway is a unique American maritime treasure that winds through some of the most beautiful and historic regions in the United States. Guests can travel in "Great Gatsby" style to these great destinations for a memorable week or more on Windrush's spring or fall excursions.

Overnight Cruises on the Chesapeake Bay

American Classic offers 3-day/2-night Weekend Getaway Cruises and Week-long Vacation Cruises on the Bay or in South Florida. Each of these cruises can be extended for a long weekend or a multiple-week trip. Overnight cruises are a great way to celebrate a "special occasion" or have that unique and memorable vacation on a classic American motor yacht. Overnight cruises let guests enjoy the luxury accommodations aboard Windrush and visit interesting historic and beautiful venues all over the Chesapeake Bay from May until early October or South Florida from December until late March.

Overnight cruises are designed to include a bountiful breakfast and an average of 3 hours of motoring per day. We often enjoy lunch underway and arrive at our destination early in the afternoon, leaving plenty of time for exploring and relaxing in the new venue. Dinner is often ashore at one of the fine restaurants on the Bay, and guests return to their private yacht at their leisure for a great night's sleep in luxurious accommodations.

Cruise rates include all boat & crew expenses except provisions, meals ashore, fuel (approximately 8 gallons per cruising hour), dockage and state taxes. All linens are provided on the Boat, and free parking is provided for guest vehicles at our home Marinas (MD & Florida). Crew gratuities are at the sole discretion of the guests and are not included in the cruise rates.

Yacht and Breakfast Option

Guests desiring to stay on board the night before a Cruise and to explore Annapolis or Islamorada can take advantage of our optional “Yacht & Breakfast”. Arrive at your yacht after 4:00 PM on the day before your cruise, stow you gear, enjoy the evening in Annapolis and a good night's sleep on “Windrush”. A refreshing breakfast awaits you in the morning before the Cruise gets underway.

What (and Who) to Bring

Guests should wear shoes with light/white rubber soles, and wear/bring appropriate clothing for the weather (jackets, caps, sunglasses, etc.). Yacht cruises are recommended for older children. Children 13 and under must be supervised at all times and wear life jackets on the forward (open) deck while the yacht is underway.
